WCCCLC 2014 FAQ

In addition to the general questions on our FAQ page, here are some specific information about WCCCLC 2014:

When should I arrive at the campsite on Friday?

WCCCLC 2014 registration/sign in will start at 6:30p.m. and program will start at 7:30p.m. on Friday, September 1. Please arrive as soon as you can.

When will I leave the campsite on Monday?

WCCCLC 2014 program will end after lunch on Monday at around 1:30p.m.

What should I bring to the camp this year?

Do you have directions to our campsite this year?

How long does it take to drive to Camp Squamish from Vancouver/Richmond area?

It will take roughly 1-1.5 hour to drive to Camp Squamish from Vancouver/Richmond area on regular traffic.

Will there be meals throughout the camp?

There will be meals provided throughout the camp. WCCCLC 2014 will provide the following meals:
Saturday – breakfast, lunch, dinner
Sunday – breakfast, lunch, dinner
Monday – breakfast, lunch

There will also be snacks on Friday, Saturday and Sunday night after the end of program.

Will there be dinner on Friday?

Dinner will NOT be provided on Friday night. Please eat before you go to the camp.

Are there places around Squamish area for me to have dinner?

There are a lot of restaurants at the Squamish downtown area. Feel free to arrive at Squamish to have dinner before coming to the camp.

Are we celebrating mass at the camp?

We will be celebrating mass on Saturday, Sunday and Monday at the camp.

Will there be confessions at the camp?

There will be some priests doing confessions with our campers on Saturday and Sunday. We still highly encourage you to go to confessions before coming to the camp.

Can I leave the campsite during the program or at the end of the day after the program is done?

No, you cannot leave the campsite during these 4 days 3 nights.

Can I ask my friends to visit during the camp?

No, to ensure the safety of our campers, this is a closed camp. Anyone who wishes to visit the camp, please contact our Overall Coordinator, Carmen, or Assistant Overall Coordinator, Vivian, or email us at [email protected] to be put onto the guest list first.

Can I smoke at the campsite?

This is a smoke-free camp.

Will we do any water sports at the camp?

No, there will not be any water sports at the camp. Our program team has planned a very very action-packed program for you. Please relax and enjoy our program.

Can I take pictures throughout the camp?

Yes, you are allowed to take pictures at the camp; however, we will have some official photographers for the camp and We will provide you the link to our pictures after the camp. We hope that you can focus and enjoy the camp.
